Welcome inside
This farmhouse from 1780, which was completely renovated in 2012 with great respect for the past, is idyllic and full of history. It's like stepping into a time warp with many fun old details that are well preserved, but the house is still contemporary with many modern facilities. 2 levels with entrance hall with access to the utility room with washing machine and freezer. Opposite the utility room is a charming and functional kitchen with a cosy dining area. Moving on, you first enter the dining room and then into the ‘nice’ living room. In addition, there is a nice bathroom with shower and a corridor with stairs to the 1st floor. On the 1st floor there is a nice toilet, 2 lovely bedrooms in the gables with double bed and single bed in each and one large room in the middle with 4 sleeping arrangements - 2 in cosy alcoves. Beautiful old furniture throughout, wood-burning stoves on both floors and you can actually cook pancakes on the old stove in the kitchen, so the idyll is just perfect.

Enjoy life outside
The farmhouse is part of a 4-lane farm that is very well maintained. Fantastic and completely enclosed courtyard with cobblestones, where the grass grows nicely in between. The outbuildings are not part of the lease, but if you go around the back, there is a fire pit and large area where you can enjoy the sunset from Trehøje in Mols Bjerge, which is a 1.5 km walk from the house. The owner provides wood that you can use both inside and outside. You are not allowed to light a fire in the courtyard, but you can cook on the barbecue in the courtyard.

Get up close to the local attractions
You're on Mols - the real Mols and Mols Bjerge National Park is your neighbour. You can spend hours hiking and exploring these mountains, formed during the last ice age when two glaciers with gigantic force pushed and crushed gravel, sand and stones in front of them through Ebeltoft and Kalø Vig and created Mols Bjerge. But there are also many other exciting things in the area. Take a hike on Helgenæs between Sletterhage Lighthouse and the German Tower or enjoy the beautiful Skødshoved with its seaside hotel and marina. Visit the old market town of Ebeltoft and enjoy the town's restaurants, shops, harbour environment etc. Perhaps a trip to Djurs Sommerland or Ree Park will excite the younger members of the family. The possibilities are endless.
