Inside, you are greeted by a kitchen with a stylish and simple design, inviting both re­laxa­tion and activity. It is fully equipped with eve­ryt­hing you need to create delicious holiday meals to enjoy with your loved ones. The kitchen features a dis­hwas­her, large fridge, freezer, modern oven, and a spacious cooktop, making cooking a breeze. The kitchen opens up to the spacious dining room, perfect for gathering the family. From the dining room, you continue into the cozy living room, where you can unwind with a good holiday book, play games, or enjoy a movie night in front of the TV. If you want extra warmth and coziness, you can light the wood stove and let its crackling warmth create the perfect holiday at­mosp­he­re.

There are three lovely bedrooms with double beds, providing a peaceful retreat for a good night's sleep. For the younger ones, there is a room with four bunk beds – a little adventure land for the kids. There are also two beautiful bathrooms, one with a spa, where you can pamper yourself and find tranqui­li­ty in a holiday wellness ex­pe­ri­en­ce.

Hours can easily slip by on the terrace, where you can sunbathe, grill, and take breaks in the lounge chairs, simply enjoying the peace and sounds of nature around you.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

Gjerrild Nord­s­trand is a charming and family-friendly area, with a beautiful sandy beach featuring shallow waters and a blue flag – making it the perfect spot for a relaxing holiday. The beach is ideal for both young and old, and the calm sur­ro­un­dings allow for fun and play. The area is also known for its excellent fishing op­portu­ni­ties, and from Gjerrild Klint, you’ll find one of Djursland’s best spots for sea trout fishing. For nature lovers, the area is filled with lovely hiking and biking trails, and from the summer house, it’s just a 20-minute drive to the charming town of Grenaa, where you can shop and enjoy a nice meal at one of the cozy sidewalk cafes. If you’re curious about history and nature, a visit to Museum Østjylland or the Kat­te­gat­cen­tret is highly recom­men­ded, where you can get up close to sharks and even dive with them. Grenaa Harbour offers ferry con­nections to the small island of Anholt and Sweden, so you can embark on ad­ven­tu­res and explore new places. Djurs Som­mer­land is just a 30-minute drive away, and the beautiful towns of Ebeltoft, Aarhus, and Randers are all about an hour’s drive from the summer house. There are plenty of op­portu­ni­ties to create un­for­get­tab­le holiday ex­pe­ri­en­ces for both adults and children.
