Vacation home by Skøds­ho­ved Strand on two levels – close to the water

Welcome inside
This two-storey, cosy holiday home is located near the beach. The ground floor welcomes you with a beautiful kitchen, which includes a dis­hwas­her. As the kitchen is open-plan and connected to the dining area, you can enjoy the company of your loved ones while preparing your daily meals, sitting together at the dining table in a cosy at­mosp­he­re and playing board games, for example. The cosy, warming wood-burning stove and two seats are located not far from the dining table. Here you can settle down in peace and quiet, gaze at the dancing flames and enjoy the beautiful holiday home at­mosp­he­re to the full. The at­tra­cti­ve­ly renovated bathroom boasts a shower cubicle. The ground floor also has un­der­floor heating, a washing machine and a bedroom with a double bed. A wooden staircase leads up from the dining area to the upper floor. Here you are welcomed by a cosy living room with a TV and a large bedroom with a double bed. Two more beds are available on the cosy sleeping loft. The latter will be par­ti­cu­lar­ly popular with your children. The little ones will spend hours building dens and playing here. The TV in the living room is equipped with Chro­mecast, so you can use your smartp­ho­ne or tablet to watch your favourite streaming services.

Enjoy life outside
Your holiday home is located on a large, plea­sant­ly secluded plot at the end of a cul-de-sac. The grassy area of the property is ideal for ball games and romping around. While your children are playing, you can enjoy the sun on the terrace. Make yourself com­fortab­le in peace and quiet and watch your children play or prepare eve­ryt­hing for a delicious barbecue dinner in the meantime. Of course, you can also immerse yourself in a good book or unwind to the sound of birdsong. It's not uncommon to see native animals such as deer, squirrels and foxes in your garden. If birds are more your thing, you can often hear and observe song thrushes on the property.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
The beach at Skødshoved - a mixture of sand and stone - is easily reached on foot and is flying the Blue Flag as a sign of good bathing quality. Car parking is also available. Close to Skødshoved Strand, you and your family will be greeted by Skødshoved Lystbådehavn, a maritime marina where you and your children can pull large crabs out of the water from the jetty. Around 25 ki­lo­metres separate you from the en­chan­ting old town of Ebeltoft, which boasts many sights. Ebelt­oft's sights include the glass museum and the frigate Jylland in the harbour area, as well as the famous old town hall, ‘Det Gamle Rådhus’. A short drive away is the largest amusement park in the north, Djurs Som­mer­land, which will put a big smile on the faces of more than just your children with its many fast-paced rides.
