This little gem, located just 400 meters from Jutland’s beautiful east coast and Dyngby Beach, provides a wonderful setting for a holiday home vacation, perfect for cozy moments by the fireplace and enjoying a lovely garden.

The house’s entrance is situated between a slightly lower annex with a cozy bedroom and the main house’s kitchen. From the entrance, a few steps lead up to the kitchen, which works well as a small area for coats, shoes, and storage. The kitchen is bright and fun­ctio­nal, with wooden walls painted in a de­light­ful green color, creating a cozy at­mosp­he­re. It’s fully equipped for preparing all your holiday meals, with ap­pli­an­ces such as a dis­hwas­her, a re­fri­ge­ra­tor with freezer, an oven, and a microwave. Adjacent to the kitchen, there’s a small enclosed room with a washing machine and extra storage space.

Directly connected to the kitchen is the dining area, which has ample space for everyone to gather for meals. Large windows in the kitchen provide great natural light and offer a view of the garden from the kitchen table. The kitchen also features a heat pump that com­ple­ments the wood-burning stove and electric radiators.

Adjoining the dining area in the kitchen is a lovely living room with a centrally located wood-burning stove. This is the heart of the home, where you can relax in the armchair or sofa, read a book by the fire, or watch TV, which offers a wide range of channels as well as a Chro­mecast. With Chro­mecast, you can stream your preferred content from your mobile or tablet using the house’s WiFi.

The living room features floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing you to enjoy views of the garden even when indoors. From the living room, there’s access to a spacious west-facing terrace, which serves as an ad­di­tio­nal living space when the weather permits.

The holiday home has three lovely bedrooms, ac­com­modat­ing up to 5 adults and 1 child. From the living room, there’s direct access to a bedroom with two single beds, ample storage, bedside lamps, and a window over­look­ing the garden. In the opposite corner of the living room and kitchen area is the second bedroom, featuring a double bed and large south-facing floor-to-ceiling windows. This bedroom exudes holiday home charm and a con­nection to nature, with a glass door leading to the garden. It also offers plenty of storage space. The final bedroom is located in an annex connected to the entrance and the main house. This room includes a 140 x 200 cm double bed, storage space, and a desk. Like the other bedrooms, it also has lovely windows and carpeting.

The bathroom, ac­ces­sib­le from the kitchen, is bright and fun­ctio­nal, with built-in storage and a shower. It also features un­der­floor heating and light tiles.

Outdoors

The holiday home boasts a charming, well-main­tai­ned garden with flower­beds, a lawn, bushes, and trees, providing a de­light­ful setting in any weather. The property is sur­ro­un­ded by a hedge, ensuring complete privacy. There are several terraces around the house, equipped with quality garden furniture and, notably, an outdoor fireplace. The fireplace is perfect for creating extra warmth and a cozy at­mosp­he­re outdoors.

The large west-facing terrace, ac­ces­sib­le from the living room, is partially covered and framed by a half wall. This makes it usable in all kinds of weather, whether the sun is shining or the wind is blowing. It’s an ideal spot for enjoying meals and relaxing in com­fortab­le outdoor furniture. Near the entrance, there’s another terrace facing east, making it perfect for morning coffee. In front of the house, there’s a driveway with parking space, shielded by a wall to ensure privacy from the road.

Location

The holiday home is located in a quiet holiday home area, just 400 meters from the fine, family-friendly Dyngby Beach. This beach offers wide sandy shores and plenty of space for swimming, relaxing, or taking walks. It’s known for its natural charm, free from excessive visitors and ice cream kiosks. For a beach with more fa­ci­li­ties, the popular Saksild Beach is only about 3.5 ki­lo­me­ters away.

Heading towards Odder, you’ll find Fru Møller’s Mill, which offers something for everyone. Here, you’ll discover an ice cream parlor, a re­stau­rant, and a de­li­ca­tes­sen, along with the op­portu­ni­ty to buy local ve­ge­tab­les. Just 9 ki­lo­me­ters from the holiday home lies Odder, a lively shopping town with great stores in its charming pe­de­stri­an street, several dining options, a bowling center, and Denmark’s largest Kvickly su­per­mar­ket.

If you wish to visit one of the islands off the coast, a 10-minute drive takes you to Hou, where ferries depart for both Samsø and Tunø. It’s easy to take a day trip to these islands. About half an hour’s drive from the holiday home is Aarhus, Jutland’s largest city, offering eve­ryt­hing you could want in a major city. Aarhus features excellent trans­porta­tion, re­stau­rants, shops, concerts, and en­tertain­ment. From Dyngby Beach, you’re within easy reach of almost eve­ryt­hing.
