Located in the beautiful Geopark Odsherred, you find this charming holiday house that sleeps a total of 10. The house was renovated in 2018 and offers a total of bed space for 10, so that families can easily split up. The quality of the house and the many op­portu­ni­ties in the area guarantee you a fantastic holiday in this house.

Interior
The house is light, spacious and contains a reception room with big panorama windows and access to the cosy terrace. There are 3 good bedrooms with a total of 3 double beds (180x200), (140x200), (140x200) plus 2 bunk beds. Please note that there is no cupboard storage but coat hooks and boxes below the beds.
The house also offers a cosy kitchen and dining section, again with big panoramic windows with views to the garden, where deer are crossing regularly. Furt­her­more a nice bathroom with toilet and shower.


Location / the area
The holiday house is located in quiet sur­ro­un­dings only 400m from a perfect sandy beach with dunes and a forest behind those. Nykøbing Sjælland is a part of the beautiful Geopark Odsherred, Denmark’s first UNESCO Geopark. Here you find an abundance of exciting sights and fantastic adventure-routes in the unique landscape. Like a walk in the bird sanctuary Hov Vig or a bike trip on the Isefjord Path. You can also visit Skan­se­ha­ge or walk around the idyllic Dybesø Lake. At the harbour in Rørvig, the children can fish crabs, while you shop for fresh fish, and you can take the small cosy ferry to Hundested. Nykøbing Sjælland offers many really good re­stau­rants, and during summer, several popular flee market take place during the week. In Nykøbing Sjælland there is also excellent shopping with several in­de­pen­dent shops selling local produce and art works. Hempel Glass Museum at Anneberg with the workshop Glas­Spi­ren for the children, Anneberg Culture Park with art and concerts or Odsherred Museum with the history of the region is certainly also worth a visit. The children will love a day at the amusement park Som­mer­land Sjælland which has been elected Denmark’s best activity for children.

Seal safari, seaweed safari or an evening cruise on the fjord, arranged by the local nature school, are certainly also highly recom­men­dab­le acti­vi­ties. All in all an area that invites to re­laxa­tion by the beach or on the cosy terrace as well as an abundance of events like in­tri­gu­ing art and culture, local produce and fantastic nature ex­pe­ri­en­ces.
