Wonderful house with sauna 200m from one of the best sandy beaches in Geopark Odsherred. Perfect for families with children.

This house with two annexes and a child-friendly garden, located 200m from a fantastic sandy beach, invites to lovely stays for several families all year round.

Interior
The ground floor in this 2-storey house contains a combined lounge and dining room with wood burner and heat pump as well as a kitchen with dis­hwas­her and all modern con­ve­ni­en­ces. There is access to a large and great wooden terrace over­look­ing the cosy garden, where the deer are crossing regularly. Furt­her­more there is a bathroom with shower on this floor. On the first floor you have 3 bedrooms, all with double beds and 1 has also a sofa bed that sleeps two. The Stair is a bit tiny.

From the terrace you have direct access to a lovely annex with a double bed and a private toilet and bathroom with shower. In the fine annex furthest away from the house there is a double bed. Via the terrace you have access to the sauna.

On the big terrace behind the house there is an outdoor shower, and from this terrace a small footpath leads directly to the lovely sandy beach.

Location / the area
The holiday house is located in a very at­tra­cti­ve area, only 5 minutes by foot from a perfect sandy beach with dunes and a forest behind them, and 5 minutes’ walk from the local su­per­mar­ket, open all year, and miniature golf as well as a re­stau­rant. Nykøbing Sjælland is a part of the scenic Geopark Odsherred, Denmark’s first UNESCO Geopark. Here you find an abundance of exciting at­tra­ctions and fantastic event-routes for walks or bicycle trips in the unique landscape. Try a walk to Skan­se­ha­ge or around the idyllic Dybesø Lake. At the harbour in Rørvig, the children can fish for crabs while you shop for fresh fish, and you can take the cosy ferry to Hundested. There are many really good re­stau­rants in Rørvig, and in the summer months, the popular barter market is on every Sunday. In Nykøbing Sjælland you have really good shopping with several in­de­pen­dent shops selling local produce and arts & crafts. Hempel Glass Museum at Anneberg with the workshop Glas­Spi­ren for children, Anneberg Culture Park with art and concerts or Odsherred Museum with the history of the region are certainly also worth visiting. The children will love a day in the amusement park Som­mer­land Sjælland which has been elected as the best activity in Denmark for children. Seal safari, seaweed safari or an evening boat trip on the fjord, arranged by the local nature school, are also highly recom­men­dab­le acti­vi­ties.
