Bright and well-appointed holiday home with views of the Wadden Sea
House-ID: 0425There is plenty of space for both cozy indoor and outdoor moments in this townhouse, which features a lovely open living area and two sun terraces. And while you fully enjoy your holiday days, you even have a view to the Wadden Sea, which is located quite close to the house.
Welcome inside
This year-round insulated holiday home was last renovated in 2017, presenting itself in a clean and well-maintained manner. All rooms are bright and inviting – especially the large living area, where the kitchen and living room are open to each other, separated only by a half wall and a couple of steps. The living area benefits from abundant natural light, and from the large window in the living room, you can gaze at the Wadden Sea. With a wood-burning stove, a comfortable seating area, and several cozy chairs, you have the perfect setting for enjoying board games, reading crime novels or watching a good movie. The layout also includes a bathroom and two good bedrooms with a total of four sleeping accommodations. The holiday home is also equipped with a heat pump, providing the opportunity for low energy consumption.
Enjoy life outside
When you step from the living room out into the fresh air, the view of the Wadden Sea becomes even better. On the communal natural plot, you can settle down on a bench if you really want to immerse yourself in the sea view – or alternatively, you can enjoy the sun, tranquility, and beautiful natural surroundings from your two private terraces. One terrace is partially covered, and there are sun loungers, garden furniture, and a grill available.
Get up close to the local attractions
The summer house is located almost at the end of a small, quiet cul-de-sac, which enhances the peaceful atmosphere. The Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, embellishes the nearby natural surroundings and ensures a rich wildlife experience. If you enjoy an active holiday in nature, there are plenty of opportunities to explore Rømø's plantations, heath landscapes, and the expansive sandy beaches. Excursions can be done on foot, by bike, or even on horseback, as there is an Icelandic horse center very close to the house. If the fresh air whets your appetite, it's about a kilometer to Havneby’s good selection of dining options. In the town, you will also find a well-stocked supermarket, and from the harbor, the ferry departs to Sylt if you are in the mood for a boat trip and an outing to the German island.
