The holiday home is located in the at­tra­cti­ve apartment complex Skansen, which was built in 2009. And as you would expect from a modern building, there are plenty of lovely details that enhance the holiday ex­pe­ri­en­ce. The apartment’s large living area, which consists of an open kitchen and living room, has abundant natural light and a very tasteful design with nice quality furniture – including a sofa bed that serves as a sup­ple­ment to the bedroom's double bed. A nice bathroom and an entrance with a washing machine and dryer are also part of the layout, meaning both comfort and fun­ctio­na­li­ty have been con­si­de­red indoors. If it is cool outside, it is a nice feature that there is un­der­floor heating throug­hout the home, while the bio fireplace helps create a cozy at­mosp­he­re in the living room.

Enjoy life outside
When the summer sun is shining, you will likely prefer to relax outdoors on the afore­men­tio­ned balcony. Not only is it south-facing, but it is also large and covered, making it a wonderful place to enjoy summer days at a leisurely pace. If you feel like enhancing your balcony enjoyment with ice cream cones or wa­ter­me­lon, there is a su­per­mar­ket in the same building, so you can quickly return to the com­fortab­le garden chairs.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
In addition to a su­per­mar­ket, there are also several shops by the square – including a bike shop where you can rent bicycles and mountain bikes. Havneby’s good selection of re­stau­rants is within walking distance, and there is also a fish shop where you can buy Rømø shrimp, fish cakes, and many other delicious de­li­ca­cies. From the harbor, you can take the ferry to List on the German holiday island of Sylt, and al­ter­na­ti­ve­ly, you can simply stand by the wa­ter­front and gaze out over the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site as a unique tidal area. If you want to explore the di­stin­cti­ve nature, you can join an oyster safari and other guided tours. It is also recom­men­ded to visit Sønder­strand or Lakolk Beach, where you can swim in the North Sea, fly kites, and take long walks on the miles of sandy beaches.
