Well-maintained summer house on a large and beautiful natural plot in the Sønderstrand area
House-ID: 0419Welcome to this charming summer house, beautifully located on a large natural plot near Vråby tree plantation and Sønderstrand.
Welcome inside
With a thatched roof, white sash windows, and a sturdy brick facade, the summer house presents itself in a classic and very charming manner, which complements the scenic surroundings perfectly. You can also enjoy the view of the trees on the property from indoors – as both the ground floor and the first floor provide views into the greenery. A large portion of the ground floor is dedicated to a delightful kitchen-dining area, where there is ample space for cooking and enjoying meals around the dining table near the wood-burning stove. If you feel like a slightly softer seating option, you can move to the living room on the first floor, where you can lounge on the sofa or settle into an armchair with a good book. The summer house features three bedrooms, located both upstairs and downstairs, while a beautiful bathroom is part of the layout on the ground floor.
Enjoy life outside
The natural plot measures 2.504 m², which means there is plenty of space for playing or engaging in outdoor games. For example, there is the option to play krolf on the lawn. If you prefer a quiet moment in a garden chair, the house’s tiled terrace is perfect for that purpose: it is large and located on the southwest side of the house, meaning it is sunny for most of the day.
Get up close to the local attractions
The summer house is situated in a green holiday home area between the Vråby tree plantation, open heath landscapes, and extensive fields. To the west lies Sønderstrand, which is not only Rømø’s but one of the widest sandy beaches in Europe. The width and unique wind conditions make it an ideal place for wind sports, including kite buggying and blokarting – and if you want to try, there are opportunities to rent equipment and receive lessons. Horseback riding is also a popular activity on Rømø Beach, and a dip in the North Sea is, of course, tempting on a sunny summer day. If a boat trip sounds appealing, you can take the ferry to List on the neighboring island of Sylt. The ferry runs its regular route from the village of Havneby, where you can also shop, dine at restaurants, rent bicycles, and much more.
