Welcome inside
The holiday home is one half of a brick duplex, which is an energy-efficient quality building with a solar heating system. The house’s high standards are also evident indoors: Both on the ground floor and the first floor the at­mosp­he­re is bright and inviting, and all rooms are ta­ste­ful­ly furnished with com­fortab­le furniture. Most of the ground floor’s square footage is dedicated to a de­light­ful living area with an open-plan kitchen and living room. Here, you’ll find un­der­floor heating and a wood-burning stove, and the kitchen is well-equipped, so you don’t have to com­pro­mi­se on holiday cooking. The dining table is po­si­tio­ned by a sunny bay window, from which you can admire the sea view while enjoying your meal. There are two good bedrooms with double beds on the first floor, and in addition, you have access to a loft with bean bags and two mattres­ses – here, the youngest family members can easily settle in. The house features two good bathrooms; the bathroom on the first floor is equipped with a hot tub.

Enjoy life outside
When the sun and summer tem­pe­ra­tu­res lure you outdoors, you have several seating options to choose from. On both sides of the house, there are lovely tiled terraces, allowing you to move around depending on the sun's position in the sky. Close to the house, there is even a play­gro­und, so while the adults fire up the grill, the children can easily hurry over to swing and climb.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
Although the view of the Wadden Sea from the house and terrace is great, it is recom­men­ded to get even closer to the fa­sci­nat­ing wetland area that is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. For example, you can follow the path that runs along the top of Havneby Dike while observing the rich birdlife and breathing in the fresh air. If you enjoy golfing, Rømø Golf Club is just a short distance away, and if you'd rather cycle, you can rent eve­ryt­hing from tandem bikes to mountain bikes in Havneby. Ad­di­tio­nal­ly, the house is just a few hundred meters from Havneby’s su­per­mar­ket, fish shop, harbor kiosk, and dining options – and also from the ferry if you want to take a trip to the German island of Sylt.
