The Wadden Sea, the bird reserve Stormengene, and the beach of Sønderstrand are just around the corner when you spend your vacation in this cozy summer house. The house itself is situated on a large green plot, so even from the living room and terrace, you can absorb picturesque nature impressions and enjoy the idyllic peace of the place.

Welcome inside
The original atmosphere can still be felt indoors in the classic wooden summer house, which features three bedrooms, a bathroom, and a living room with an integrated kitchen area and a wood stove. Over the years, the house has been maintained and updated, and there are both WiFi and a flat-screen TV with satellite as part of the modern conveniences. The question is, however, whether you can even tear your gaze away from the view when sitting in the living room, for through the windows, you can look out into the greenery—and it's quite possible that a deer or a pheasant may stroll by on the nature plot.

Enjoy life outside
When you want to enjoy the surroundings and the holiday peace, the summer house's terrace and comfortable garden furniture are perfect for the purpose. The terrace is south-facing and thus sunny for much of the day, and there is also a covered area where you can find shelter or shade depending on the weather forecast.

Get up close to the local attractions
The summer house is well tucked away from Stormengevej, which leads you down to the bird reserve that bears the name Stormengene. It is not far to the unique Sønderstrand either, known as one of Europe’s widest sandy beaches. On the beach, you can drive your car right down to the North Sea, and there are also opportunities for blokart, kite buggy, and other forms of wind sports on the open expanses. If you are a golfer, it's wonderful to live so close to Rømø Golf Club, and if you love oysters, you can join a guided tour on Rømø where you collect the delicious shellfish yourself. An oyster trip is also an exciting way to get up close to the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. If you prefer to buy your food at a supermarket or have it served, there are both shopping options and restaurants in nearby Havneby.

On the Wadden Sea island Rømø a unique landscape is waiting to be explored, especially the wide sandy beaches, that provide unforgettable memories. Rømø offers a variety of activities, including different forms of wind sports that only can be practiced in few places in Europe. There are two ways to reach Rømø - the causeway that connects Rømø to the mainland, and the ferry that shuttles between the popular German island Sylt and Rømø. This opens a variety of excursion options.
