On a small, closed road near Vråby Plantation, you will find this atmospheric and exceptionally cozy holiday home.

Welcome inside
The thatched holiday home has been nestled in these peaceful, green surroundings since 1968, fitting perfectly into the picturesque landscape. While several original details have been beautifully preserved indoors, modern conveniences have also been added, making the house both full of character and comfort. Among the improvements, the beautiful bathroom from 2015 stands out, and the nice kitchen has also recently been updated with a dishwasher and other good appliances. In addition to the kitchen and bathroom, the ground floor consists of a lovely living room with a built-in fireplace and soft seating, and if you take the steep stairs up to the first floor, you will find two charming bedrooms.

Enjoy life outside
The 2400 m² natural plot on which the holiday home is situated is hilly, creating distinct levels for the terrace environment. Part of the terrace is covered, while the open, south-facing section is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the summer sun. Thanks to the trees and the rolling landscape, you will feel wonderfully secluded in the midst of nature. If you have bicycles with you on your holiday, there is an option to store them in a locked shed.

Get up close to the local attractions
From the holiday home, you can venture straight out into the scenic surroundings – for instance, to Vråby Plantation, which not only features walking trails but also offers a dog park where four-legged family members can roam off-leash. You can also take a stroll to the viewpoint Stagebjerg, and Sønderstrand facing the North Sea is an ideal excursion destination. On the kilometer-wide sandy beach, there are plenty of opportunities for water sports like kite buggying and blokarting, or you may prefer to swim and walk along the water’s edge. The Wadden Sea surrounding Rømø is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, making it perfect to explore the unique coastline of the island more closely. You can even go on an oyster safari or other guided tours to get up close and personal with the Wadden Sea.
