You will enjoy a holiday in beautiful natural surroundings when you spend your days here in this beautifully updated summer house in Kongsmark. Open heathlands and lovely plantations are part of the local area, and even though you are located in the heart of Rømø, it’s not far to the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Welcome inside
The summer house is a solid brick property that appears neat and well-maintained with modern interiors. The most recent update took place in 2016, during which new flooring was installed throughout the house, and both the bathroom and the three bedrooms were modernized. In addition to the sleeping quarters and the bathroom, the layout features a lovely living room with an integrated kitchen area. Here, the atmosphere is also bright and airy, with large windows providing a pleasant view of the green surroundings. When you relax in the sofa area or gather around the dining table for board games, you can light the wood-burning stove for extra coziness, and there is also an air-source heat pump available to ensure you stay warm.

Enjoy life outside
When you spend time outdoors, you have good distance from the neighbors, as the plot measures a full 3,000 m2. On part of the plot, trees, shrubs, and heather are allowed to grow freely, but not right by the house, where two lovely terraces and even a beach volleyball court have been established. One terrace is completely enclosed and partially covered, while the other is open, and both are quite private thanks to the plot’s landscaping.

Get up close to the local attractions
If you don’t want to spend the entire day in your own private oasis, there are plenty of excursion opportunities on Rømø—and thanks to the house’s central location in Kongsmark, it’s easy to get around this beautiful Wadden Sea island. The Wadden Sea is definitely worth exploring, as this fascinating tidal area is a UNESCO World Heritage site and home to a large number of birds and even tons of Pacific oysters. You can collect the latter at the oyster banks during low tide—and if you’d like expert guidance along the way, you can join a guided oyster tour. A trip to Rømø’s west coast is also highly recommended, where you can swim in the North Sea and drive right down to the kilometer-wide Lakolk Strand.

On the Wadden Sea island Rømø a unique landscape is waiting to be explored, especially the wide sandy beaches, that provide unforgettable memories. Rømø offers a variety of activities, including different forms of wind sports that only can be practiced in few places in Europe. There are two ways to reach Rømø - the causeway that connects Rømø to the mainland, and the ferry that shuttles between the popular German island Sylt and Rømø. This opens a variety of excursion options.
