Visit the impressive Stone Age Centre Ertebølle where you can immerse yourself into the lives of ancient Stone Age people, who lived 7,000 years ago, through interactive experiences such as hunting, sailing and flintknapping for Ertebølle Hoved, a unique cliff with layers of volcanic ash, is a testament to the distinctive geological features of the area. The cliff offers excellent opportunities to find fossils and understand why this place is so special that it has become a candidate for the UNESCO World Heritage List.
