Sejerø is a 12 km long island in Kattegat. The island is known as Kattegat’s sunshine island – and for good reason. Sejerø is one of the sunniest places in Denmark. Here you can experience the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the shoreline.
The nature of the island is diverse and offers everything from beautiful sandy beaches and wide-open spaces to rolling hills and fields. Sejerø is especially known for its many burial mounds that date back to the Bronze Age. A total of 30 burial mounds have been discovered on the island, and you can experience them via several footpaths that take you around the landscape.
