Asserbo

Spend your holiday in the tranquil forest with the chirping of songbirds and the scent of conifers. Enjoy walks in Asserbo Plantation, where the trees stand tall and proud and create an amazing atmosphere. Here you will also find heaths and areas covered in heather, and many good hiking and cycling paths that weave their way through this varied landscape. At the end of the plantation, where the forest thins and the dunes begin, you will find the lovely Liseleje Beach. This part of the beach is secluded and peaceful. The town of Liseleje is also a stone’s throw away, with cosy eateries, shops and urban life.

Evetofte

Between Roskilde Fjord, Arresø and the Kattegat is Evetofte. A cosy oasis where you can design the holiday of your dreams. The idyllic and scenic area around Arresø offers plenty of hiking and cycling routes, and Arresø Canal takes you directly to the alluring landscape of Roskilde Fjord. On the northern coast of the Kattegat is Hald Beach. Here you can easily spend hours swimming, playing games on the beach, reading a good book, enjoying the perfect view, and so on. The area is also ideal for exploring on foot or by bike, and you will find many lovely trails and routes around the terrain. The towering coastline gives the landscape a particularly dramatic feel and offers one breathtaking view after another. Close to Hald Beach are several cosy harbour towns with plenty of atmosphere, shops and urban life. The area also offers art, culture, local specialities and so much more.

You can also sail or row in the fjord or find a peaceful spot for a picnic lunch. Here you can experience wild and lush nature, picturesque landscapes and spectacular views. Kikhavn offers an idyllic Danish village atmosphere, and with its thatched half-timbered houses and fisherman’s huts, it is the perfect setting for a holiday home break. Here, the coast rises dramatically above the water level. On the outer tip is Spodsbjerg Lighthouse, and just below is Knud Rasmussen’s house, which is now a museum. Here you can spend hours swimming in the quiet waters, playing games on the beach, reading good books and enjoying beautiful sunsets.
