South of Skagen, you will find Kan­de­ste­der­ne, sur­ro­un­ded by tranqui­li­ty and pristine rugged nature.

The area is known for its stunning dune landsca­pes and wide sandy beaches. This also makes Kan­de­ste­der­ne the perfect place for long walks and sun­bat­hing. Near Kan­de­ste­der­ne, you will find the im­pres­si­ve natural pheno­menon Råbjerg Mile, among the largest shifting dunes in Europe which is why it draws Danish and foreign ho­li­day­ma­kers alike.

From Kan­de­ste­der­ne, you also have direct access to Skiveren Strand, a true paradise for kite surfers and nature ent­hu­si­asts. The wide beach is sur­ro­un­ded by dunes and has been awarded the Blue Flag cer­ti­fi­ca­tion.
