Enjoy the holiday of your dreams in Marielyst immersed in nature, culture, activities and beach life. The 20-kilometre-long white sandy beach is one of the area’s main landmarks and is nothing short of amazing. You can walk uninterrupted for hours, and for the adventurous, there are ample opportunities to try out different kinds of water sports. The area is also ideal for exploration on foot or by bike, and the two water towers offer a fantastic view of the landscape.

Marrebæk

Gedesby

A stone’s throw from Denmark’s southernmost point sits Gedesby, which offers authentic village vibes and idyllic scenery. In and around the town you will find beautiful old houses, thatched farmhouses and cosy green landscapes. The church, which dates back to the 1300s, is nestled in the centre of the town surrounded by the quaint main street and beautiful old mill. The area plays an important role in Denmark’s history so there is a lot of local folklore and tales to explore. The nature here is fantastic, with plantations, hiking trails and forests – and not least Gedesby Beach, which stretches as far as the eye can see.

Kongsnæs

On scenic Nordfalster, close to the old market town of Stubbekøbing, sits the quaint town of Kongsnæs. Here, your holiday awaits in calm surroundings with plenty of nature and beautiful landscapes. From here you can look over at Bogø and Møn, and in clear weather you can see several of the area’s charming small islands. The quiet waters that separate the islands create a cosy fjord-like environment with calm waters, lovely beaches, bays and idyllic little nooks. There are great opportunities for walking and cycling around the scenic landscape, and you’ll find marked hiking trails to guide you around and reveal beautiful views.
