Langeland

Bagenkop

Located on the southern tip of Langeland, the pleasant holiday village of Bagenkop is home to one of the best beaches on the island where you can soak up the sun and swim in the clear water. Previously, Bagenkop was a busy ferry town and you can still get that feeling when you take a walk along the harbour that overlooks the small well-preserved fishermen cottages. From the quay, you can enjoy the sight of the colourful fishing boats and meet the local fishermen hauling in the catch of the day. You can also put on your hiking boots and experience the wild horses grazing at Dovns Klint; and if you are lucky, you might spot a porpoise or two in the green surroundings.
