Arnager

The cosy town of Arnager is south of Rønne. The town is known for its long, wooden bridge, carefully built to span 188 metres, making it Northern Europe’s longest bridge. At the end of the bridge is an idyllic little harbour erected on poles, with fishers’ houses and colourful boats. Arnager is a gem where you can enjoy stunning beaches and sunsets in picturesque surroundings without anyone bothering you. Rønne is the first town you come to when you arrive on lovely Bornholm. Beautiful St Nicholas Church is majestically located in a protruding square upon entry to the harbour, welcoming visitors. It offers a rich commercial and cultural life, and you will find historic buildings, museums, local arts and crafts, galleries, and more. There is ample opportunity to explore the island’s excellent beaches in all directions. Head south to visit Boderne or wonderful Dueodde—one of Denmark’s best beaches.
