Aqua Sports Zone
For many years, Hvide Sande has been one of Europe's most popular surfing spots. The low, beginner-friendly waters of Ringkøbing Fjord, coupled with the North Sea surf and good, stable wind conditions, give the area enormous versatility with ideal conditions for windsurfing, kite surfing and paddle boarding.
In addition to the traditional surfing activities, visitors can try out the cable park for water skiing and wakeboarding as well as a marine and surf kayaking centre. Just north of Hvide Sande you'll find Aqua Sports Zone, a Mecca for water sport enthusiasts.
Small, quaint atmospheric towns
The fjord and the sea in Ringkøbing, along with the many speciality shops, have created a truly vibrant atmosphere. The town square in Ringkøbing is surrounded by cosy establishments where you can enjoy a beer to the rhythms of jazz music during the summer months. Hvide Sande and Søndervig offer a wide selection of shops, shopping centres and restaurants. Søndervig had already gained a reputation as a seaside resort in the 1800s, and it is buzzing with activities. Hvide Sande is an exciting combination of fishing port and town in a beautiful location.
Fish auction
