Get up close to the local attractions: Reersø is a small peninsula situated between Korsør and Kalundborg, facing the Great Belt. It offers stunning and diverse nature, a charming marina with a fish shop, an idyllic old inn, and several museums. The town also features galleries and art shops. Less than a kilometer from the house, you will find the charming village, which has remained virtually unchanged since the 18th century, as evidenced by the thatched, whitewashed half-timbered farms. The town—and the peninsula as a whole—holds a wealth of exciting history and legends, such as tales of tailless cats and Queen Margrethe I herself! The town offers several attractions, museums, and a cozy harbor. And, of course, there’s the beautiful and varied nature, just waiting to be explored. If you are into fishing, there are plenty of great spots for angling. For shopping, you will find good options in Gørlev, about a 10-kilometer drive away. The nearest larger shopping towns are Kalundborg and Slagelse.
