Welcome inside: The holiday home, newly renovated in 2023, is well-maintained and thoughtfully designed. All rooms feature vaulted ceilings. The house has a combined kitchen and living room. The modern, functional kitchen includes a stovetop, built-in oven, range hood, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and freezer. The living room boasts large windows that provide plenty of natural light. From the living room, there is access to a partially covered terrace. The living area includes ample dining space, a corner sofa, a wood-burning stove, a TV with Danish DR channels, a satellite dish with German channels, and a Chromecast for streaming (requires personal login).
There are two bathrooms with shower cubicles, tiled floors, and underfloor heating. One bathroom also features a spa bath and a washing machine. The house has four bedrooms, all equipped with double beds (two single beds pushed together). Additionally, there is an alcove in the living room with sleeping space for two. A baby cot and a high chair are also available. The house is heated via a heat pump, wood-burning stove, and electric heating.
Free wireless internet is provided (fiber optic). Final cleaning is mandatory.
No rentals to youth groups where all participants are aged 15-25.
Enjoy life outside: The house is situated on a beautiful, secluded 1,170 m² plot with a lovely garden offering ample space for play and relaxation. There is a large, partially covered wooden terrace where you can fully enjoy outdoor life. The property is equipped with garden furniture, sun loungers, a parasol, and a grill.
Get up close to the local attractions:
The summer house is located within walking distance of the water at Stillinge Strand, one of West Zealand’s best and most family-friendly sandy beaches. The house is also close to the beach center. Stillinge Strand is a large holiday home area on Zealand’s west coast and features several restaurants, a café, a grocery store, a grill, and an ice cream shop. Nearby are the three market towns of Korsør, Slagelse, and Skælskør, all offering good shopping opportunities.
Slagelse, the largest commercial town in West Zealand, has a wide selection of shops, restaurants, and cafés. It is also home to one of Denmark’s largest barracks, where you can see the Royal Guard Hussars ride through the town every Wednesday.
The surrounding area offers numerous excursion opportunities, including the Viking fortress Trelleborg, Kragerup Manor with various activities such as treetop adventures, football golf, mountain bike trails (bike rentals available), and canoeing on the moat. Other attractions include Panzermuseum East near Slagelse, which has an impressive collection of military vehicles and equipment from the Cold War, Birkegården’s Gardens—a 10,000 m² experience garden with animals and a play park—and Gerlev Play Park, offering 1,000 years of play culture for children and adults, including classic games from around the world, Viking games, combat games, and hide-and-seek.
