Superb and spacious holiday house close to the sea

The holiday house is located between Ordrup Næs and Veddinge Bakker and close to the Skamlebæk plain, the protected Disbjerg and the former Skamlebæk radio station, today a nature area with no buildings. It is a beautiful and quiet holiday house area with access to the stony and sandy beach.

Welcome inside

Here you arrive at a modern holiday house with a light and friendly fur­nis­hing. The open kitchen and the spacious light living room with double-height ceiling is the beautiful basis for an ideal vacation. If you brought your children, you may collect chestnuts in the forest, and in the afternoon you can have a cosy time around the dining table making chestnut animals, while the afternoon is waning. Maybe you have bought root ve­ge­tab­les at the local farm shop during your drive and are starting tonight’s dinner pre­pa­ra­tions, while good friends are offering a glass of wine for the cook.

Enjoy life outside

The big open wooden terrace is an oasis and the perfect place to rest in the deck chair, enjoying the silence and nature. A trip to the beach for a swim in the sea is almost a must at least once a day. The entire area is cha­ra­cte­rized by scenic and un­du­lat­ing landsca­pes and nature and is ideal for walks and bicycle tours, if you do not mind pedalling a bit hard and getting your pulse up.

Get close to the local at­tra­ctions

You can take a trip past the Skamlebæk tower, a former radio station, and 75m high. By the foot of the tower you have a fantastic view of the bay. If you love to surf and get wind into your sails, you may also enjoy going to Sand­dob­ber­ne and spend a day at sea. When you get hungry, you can stop by one of the cosy eating places in the area. You have the po­s­si­bi­li­ty for high ga­stro­no­my at Dragsholm Castle or something lighter such as visit a stre­et­food place or a local café. Here are plenty of po­s­si­bi­li­ties for special ex­pe­ri­en­ces, for children as well as for adults. If you visit during the autumn holidays, you could f.inst. take a trip to the Visitors’ Field in Fårevejle and harvest your own root ve­ge­tab­les for your supper.
