Lovely holiday apartment with a quiet sun courtyard – perfectly located in the heart of Skagen.
House-ID: TV1470Rødegårdsti 12 is the perfect holiday address if you want easy access to everything Skagen has to offer, from great restaurants and fascinating cultural history to magnificent nature. This charming holiday apartment is situated right between Skagen Museum and the Vippefyr lighthouse by Skagen Sønderstrand, so whether you want to grab a bite to eat at the harbor or experience the natural forces at Grenen, it’s all easily within reach.
Welcome inside
Behind the property’s red brick walls, you’ll find a neat and welcoming holiday home that accommodates up to four people. Please note that to access the two bedrooms, you need to take a steep staircase from the living room. Also, there is a partition between the two bedrooms. In other words, the apartment is best suited for those who are comfortable with stairs and can enjoy being relatively close to one another. The ground floor offers a well-equipped kitchen and a shower bathroom, which is predominantly kept in white. Last but not least, there is the living room, a delightful space with a dining table and corner sofa. Here, you can enjoy spending time playing cards, reading books, watching TV, or just chatting with your loved ones – unless, of course, the sun is shining so beautifully that you’re tempted outside onto the adjacent terrace.
Enjoy life outside
The apartment’s west-facing terrace is sheltered by brick walls and fences on all sides, creating a completely private courtyard with a peaceful atmosphere. The sun conditions are great, and because the outdoor area faces towards the neighboring property, it feels especially secluded and tranquil to sit here – so you may even forget you’re right in the middle of the town when you drink your afternoon coffee under the umbrella or grill dinner with the family as the day winds down. There is parking available at the property, and due to the central location, the car can easily stay here for most of the holiday.
Get up close to the local attractions
From Rødegårdsti, it’s only about 300 meters to Skagen Sønderstrand, so if you want to get up early to see the sunrise over the water, you can be there in no time. If your day has been filled with museum visits, café coffee, and bustling city life, it can also be lovely to escape the picturesque streets for a while and take a dip in the salty waters of the Kattegat or simply sit peacefully in the sand – and if you want to go on a long walk, you can continue north until you reach Grenen. By car or bike, there is much to experience in the far northern part of Jutland, such as the Sanded Church in Skagen Klitplantage or the impressive landscape at Råbjerg Mile.
