The area

Nab is a small and calm holiday home area on Southern Funen 6 km southeast of Faaborg with a child-friendly beach. South Funen is known for its very special and hilly nature with Svanninge Bakker, the so-called Funish Alps, and the beautiful and unique ar­chipela­go.The idyllical harbour town Fåborg offers nice shops, cultural sights, re­stau­rants and an indoor swimming-pool. South Funen has a lot to offer. Take a day trip to the islands of Lyø, Avernakø or Ærø. The ferry leaves daily from the harbour in Faaborg. Egeskov Castle, which is one of Funen´s largest at­tra­ctions, is also worth a visit as well as Odense, Funen´s largest town, which is only 30 minutes away by car from the area.
