This really cozy holiday home is in the popular holiday homes area Horne Som­mer­land with a good beach and with just approx. 2 km to the nearest shopping and approx. 11 km to the center of the port city of Faaborg. There are fine shopping op­portu­ni­ties and several re­stau­rants.

The house has a small hall, a large bedroom with 1 double bed, a good bathroom with shower and 2 good living rooms with wood stove, and a kitchen. From the house as well as the beautiful terrace and garden there is a beautiful panoramic view to the South Funen Ar­chipela­go with Lyø as the nearest island.

The house is the perfect starting point for acti­vi­ties and excur­sions in the southern Funen area or perhaps a trip by ferry from Bøjden to Fynshav and on to Germany.

The area

Horne Som­mer­land is a minor holiday home area which is only 7 km away from Fåborg. South Funen is known for its very special and hilly nature with Svanninge Bakker, the so-called Funish Alps, and the beautiful and unique ar­chipela­go. The idyllical harbour town Fåborg is only 10 minutes away by car with nice shops, cultural sights, re­stau­rants and an indoor swimming-pool. South Funen has a lot to offer. Take a day trip to the islands of Lyø, Avernakø or Ærø. The ferry leaves daily from the harbour in Faaborg. Egeskov Castle, which is one of Funen´s largest at­tra­ctions, is also worth a visit as well as Odense, Funen´s largest town, which is only 30 minutes away by car from the area.
