City house TV1479, Bratten, for 6 people
House-ID: TV1479This large and well-designed spa house boasts a fantastic location in the railway town of Strandby: It is situated in the front row to the beach and even offers the most stunning view of the Kattegat from the first floor and balcony.
Welcome inside
The attractive location is just one of many advantages of the house, which is a particularly spacious and well-built holiday home across two floors. Indoors, you and your loved ones have plenty of space to spread out, and the bright rooms are filled with many delightful details. If you love wellness and warm baths, you can look forward to a holiday in a house with a large spa bath – in addition, there is a bathroom with a rain shower on the ground floor, as well as both a shower and a bathtub in the first-floor bathroom. The ground-floor living area, featuring a wood-burning stove, an open kitchen, and an east-facing bay window, is an ideal gathering point for the family. However, it is also tempting to head upstairs to relax in the first-floor living room, which boasts an impressive sea view. And if you can tear yourself away from the beautiful scenery, you can look forward to a good night's sleep in one of the house's three spacious bedrooms.
Enjoy life outside
You can also enjoy the sea view outdoors, as the first-floor covered balcony offers a direct view of Ålbæk Bay, allowing you to soak up the holiday atmosphere. On the opposite side of the first floor, another covered balcony faces the backyard, and finally, there are several lovely terraces to choose from around the house. In short, it is easy to find the perfect spot to relax in a comfortable garden chair or treat the family to a delicious summer dinner prepared on the grill. The lawn provides space for children to play and kick a ball, and if you return from a trip to the beach, you can easily rinse off the sand and saltwater under the outdoor shower.
Get up close to the local attractions
Strandvej ends in a cul-de-sac at Rugholm Å, just a couple of minutes' walk from the holiday home, making the area both peaceful and scenic. If you want to head down to the water to build sandcastles or take a refreshing dip, simply cross the road and follow the path for 100 meters to reach the Kattegat shoreline. If you and your family feel like taking a pleasant walk, you can stroll along the beach until you reach Strandby's charming harbor. On weekdays, you can buy fresh fish at the shop by the Auction Hall – and if you prefer to have your meal served, there is a cozy café by the quayside as well as a couple of other eateries in town. Strandby is a railway town, so if you are not driving, it is also easy to take the train to the charming harbor town of Frederikshavn or Skagen, home to Grenen, the Sand-Covered Church, and many other attractions.
Remember that at Feriepartner Ålbæk, you can always borrow handcarts, high chairs, and baby beds. You can pick them up directly at the agency and return them to us when your holiday is over.
