Welcome inside
Inside you are met by an extremely cosy atmosphere. The house is light and inviting with good cosy corners. There is a nice open kitchen and four good bedrooms. When the dew is falling in the evening, you can extend the summer evenings on the cosy covered section. In the living room you can enjoy nice family times with a good movie or a board game, while the wood burner is crackling in the background.
Enjoy life outside
On the big terrace there is plenty of space to relax, enjoy the sun from morning till evening and eat a nice dinner, while you are planning the following day’s activities. You may even have the luck to spot a roe deer or a squirrel, while you are having a good time around the table. It is highly recommended to go for a small evening walk to the beach to watch the sun setting.
Get close to the local attractions
The holiday house is located within walking distance to the beaches at Kattegat as well as Sejerø Bay, so you have plenty of possibilities to get your bathing suit into use. The coastline towards Kattegat is known for its good angling possibilities, and here you find anglers along the coast, hoping for a catch of sea trout, cod or garfish; harpoon fishing is also popular along the coast. If you want a more active day, we recommend a trip to the beautiful forest Sonnerup Skov, a big nice forest with many old beech trees directly bordering the Kattegat coast. Do not forget to pay a visit to the vineyard Ørnberg – their wines have several times been elected to be the best in Denmark. The cosy fishing village Havnebyen at Sjællands Odde is certainly also worth a visit, where you can enjoy a good lunch and an ice cream but also buy freshly caught fish to bring home from the big fishmonger that offers a wide selection of delicacies.
