Gniben at Sjællands Odde offers good op­portu­ni­ties for bathing and angling from the two beaches – towards Kattegat and towards Sejerø Bay. You will stay in an area with versatile nature and a rich bird life, good po­s­si­bi­li­ties for walks and not far from the charming fishing village Havnebyen with a fis­h­mon­ger with their own smo­ke­hou­se, open all year round, several eating places and a maritime en­viron­ment with yachtsmen, fishing boats and acti­vi­ties for the entire family.

The house is par­ti­cu­lar­ly well suited for you who value gorgeous sur­ro­un­dings and unspoilt nature. Sit down in the lovely sofa and enjoy the quiet, take out your knitting and spend some hours on your han­di­craft or an exciting novel. In the meantime your partner can prepare a delicious meal in the kitchen or maybe bake a cake with chocolate, glazing and coconut. Here you have peace and quiet, and your time is your own.

Enjoy life outside
The plot and the sur­ro­un­dings are cha­ra­cte­rized by the natural ve­ge­ta­tion only 500m from the blue sea. Settle down on the big terrace with sun from morning till evening, while you listen to the birds singing and maybe spot a deer or two passing by. After a swim in the fresh sea or some cosy hours with your rod, where you have fine op­portu­ni­ties for a catch along the coast of Kattegat or along the steep cliffs at Ebbeløkke, it is time to wash off the sand under the lovely outdoor shower of the house.

Get close to the local at­tra­ctions
We at Fe­ri­e­part­ner Odsherred recommend you to go for a walking tour at Ebbeløkke Stræde only a few ki­lo­metres from the holiday house. When you walk on the ancient cattle path Ebbeløkke Stræde in the footsteps of the cattle boys, a fantastic ex­pe­ri­en­ce is awaiting, when you cross the hill crest and have a view of the entire Sejerø Bay. This is so beautiful that you want to sit down in shelter of the drystone wall to enjoy the view and your own re­fres­h­ments, until the tour continues down the slope and past beautiful nature forest Solåsen. On both sides of the fertile moraine land, you find slopes with genuine natural forests. Here you have a bre­ath­taking view of Kattegat as well as Sejerø Bay and also po­s­si­bi­li­ties for walks filled with all kinds of ex­pe­ri­en­ces. From Ebbeløkke village the cattle were driven along a cattle path down to the poor soil on the raised seabed from the Stone Age sea. If you ap­pre­ci­a­te good local wine, a guided tour and a tasting on the local vineyard Ørnberg, is certainly also to be recom­men­ded.
