Roomy architect-designed holiday house close to the beach area at Gniben, at the tip of Sjællands Odde, where you find peace and quiet, exciting nature and good walking and angling po­s­si­bi­li­ties.

Welcome inside
This lovely architect-designed L-shaped house offers floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors in all rooms. When you are sitting in the big and com­fortab­le corner sofa in the living room with the sloping ceiling, you rather feel that you are outside and can watch the garden and the sky through the big south-facing windows. In the other end of the big light living room you have the dining table and the open kitchen, where there is plenty of room to cook the daily meals together. In the bigger bedroom you have access to the terrace from two doors, and in the other bedroom there is also a glass door with access to the terrace, so that you may easily get up and go for a jogging tour through the area in the morning, before putting the kettle on.

Enjoy life outside
The house is framed by a very big wooden terrace with plenty of room to place the sun bed. In one corner you find an outdoor shower and an outdoor kitchen, where you may prepare freshly caught fish, either your own catch or after a visit to the fis­h­mon­ger Odden Fisk at Odden harbour in Havnebyen, open all days all year round. The plot is well suited for ball games and other games and playing for the entire family, and there are only a few hundred metres to the coast with a stony beach. At Hyldebo Strandvej on the south side of Gniben as well as at Strand­vej­en on the northern side towards Kattegat there are good bathing beaches. Along the coasts on Gniben there are many good angling spots with the po­s­si­bi­li­ty of catching sea trout, mackerel, garfish, flatfish, cod, mullet and sea bass.

Get close to the local at­tra­ctions

Odden offers many fine farm shops, and we would like to recommend a visit to the candle makers and life-style boutique Ka­sta­ni­e­lys at Lønnebjerggård on Sønder­vangs­vej, Yderby Lyng. The spe­ci­a­li­ty at Ka­sta­ni­e­lys is home-made candles, and they are also selling a lot of local produce, de­li­ca­cies and treats. We also recommend a visit to Havnebyen at Sjællands Odde to visit the well-stocked fis­h­mon­ger and other of the cafés and eating places around the harbour. There is also a special play­gro­und, the Van­d­eks­pe­ri­men­ta­ri­um that the children will enjoy.
