Lovely log house with sea view in quiet sur­ro­un­dings

In this beautiful holiday house area at Overby Lyng you have water on both sides of Sjællands Odde. The area offers versatile nature and walking paths as well as the village Havnebyen with Tuna Fish Museum, a fis­h­mon­ger, and eating places. There are many different acti­vi­ties, among others in the former Auction Hall at the harbour, the play­gro­und Van­d­eks­pe­ri­men­ta­ri­um and the annual Mackerel Festival in August.

Welcome inside

In this cosy log house you have a direct view to the beach and Sejerø Bay. The house has a peaceful location at the end of a road and with paths along the stony beach. From the sofa you may just enjoy the sea view and the wind in the trees, when the evening is falling. When time has come to prepare dinner, you make somebody do the ve­ge­tab­les, and while the roast is simmering on the cooker, you may enjoy a cold, local beer. If you just need peace and quiet, maybe to paint, write or knit, this is where your body and soul can recharge for in­spira­tion and new energy.

Enjoy life outside

On the wooden terrace right outside the windows of the living room you may enjoy good food, a sausage or just a cup of coffee while trying to spot the island of Sejerø. If you love eve­ryt­hing connected to the sea, you could put your sea kayak that you brought, into the water, try to find the balance on your SUP or just enjoy a swim in the fresh sea. If the wind is very strong one day, the other side of Sjællands Odde is not far away, where you may find shelter.

We at Fe­ri­e­part­ner Odsherred recommend you to visit the life-style boutique and candle-maker Ka­sta­ni­e­lys, an in­tri­gu­ing and cosy shop, spe­ci­a­lized in beautiful hand-made candles, where you and your children may also try to make your own candles. In the shop you also find the local wine from Ørnberg, flour-mixes from Lønnebjerg’ s own fields, the local beer Odden Bryg, Danish Seaweed from Odsherred, de­li­ca­cies from Sidinge farm shop & orchard, freshly roasted coffee from the local artisan coffee roaster plus a wide selection of de­li­ca­cies, special beer, wine and spices from other parts of Denmark and the world.
