Description
At Ordrup Næs you find this rare, original and unique wooden holiday house on two levels. Here you are in the front row to the sea with a view of Sejerø Bay.
Welcome inside
For the family of four or two couples this original holiday house offers the very best location on the peaceful Ordrup Næs (=foreland). The living room is the pivotal point, from where you – from the sofa in the centre of the house – cannot avoid watching the sea from the plot, located directly facing the Sejerø Bay. Here you may digest the events of the day in peace and quiet. The kitchen is the original, so here you can cut some fruit for the afternoon or prepare a delicious breakfast. On the first floor you find a terrace, also with sea view from one of the two bedrooms, so maybe you will have to draw lots for the bedrooms…
Enjoy life outside
The house is located on high ground on a spacious nature plot and offers a big south-facing wooden terrace and a smaller terrace facing the sea. Already from the morning you will find the outdoor life here attractive, and you may easily consume all meals on one of the terraces with the fine sea view.
Get close to the local attractions
Ordrup Næs offers a beautifully undulating and protected nature area with water on both sides: Sejerø Bay to the north and Nekselø Bay to the south. At the northern side, the beach is stonier, but there is a fine path leading across the protected nature areas, where you may find rare plants and a versatile bird life, and further on to the tip, where the sheep are grassing on Brændeklint or Næbbet, as the tip is called.
On the southern side you find the most wonderful bathing beach all along the coast, and from the house it is only a short walk, until you have sand between your toes.
If you want to watch the entire hilly Ice Age landscape a little from above, we at Feriepartner Odsherred will recommend a tour to one of the highest points on Zealand, the Vejrhøj hill, situated 121m above sea level. You may either walk the versatile and impressive Vejrhøj Path of 3,8km across from the parking lot by Vraget at Vindekilde Strandvej, or you may park in Vindekilde and take the tour up past Brydebjerg forest and Vejrhøj forest to experience the breathtaking view of 360 degrees around the horizon from Vejrhøj. You can also make a visit en route to Vejrhøj vineyard.
