Family holiday house with all facilities by child-friendly sandy beach
House-ID: 13313Gudmindrup Lyng beach by Sejerø Bay is one of the finest beaches in Odsherred. The beach is wide and child-friendly with the holiday house areas located behind the beautiful dune landscape, and behind Korevlerne, an inland lagoon created by nature. Other than being a fine bathing spot in summer, it is also a good spot for birds, as the wades create a great food selection for ducks, wading birds and gulls, and the entire area is therefore protected and is a bird sanctuary.
Welcome inside
In this big, spacious and modern family holiday house you have every facility and plenty of room for everybody. The living room with a view to the terrace and the garden is the natural rallying point, whether you are sitting in the sofa setting or by the dining table, and here you may spend many hours with games and cosy times. If it gets too hot, you just open the terrace door, and if it gets cool, the wood burner will provide a nice and cosy heat. Otherwise you may also find heat in the sauna or spa bath in the house.
Enjoy life outside
On the big terrace you can enjoy most meals and create shade under the big garden sun shade. Afterwards you may nap in a sun bed on the terrace or on the big nature plot, surrounded by border vegetation. You must also try out the bonfire setting – of course with twistbread and sausages, and if there are any children (also older ones) a round of grilled marshmallows.
Get close to the local attractions
The lagoon area Korevlerne that you meet on your way to the beach in Sejerø Bay, is only one of many exciting landscapes in UNESCO Global Geopark Odsherred. We at Feriepartner Odsherred will also recommend you to visit Vejrhøj hill, the third-highest point on Zealand, and situated 121m above sea level in Bjergene in the south-western Odsherred. Through varied ground the path rises steeply onto the Bronze Age hill Vejrhøj. The Vejrhøj Arch, named after the barrow, is a lateral moraine created during the last Ice Age. It was probably created by the advancing glacier pushing large flakes of perma-frozen underground in front of it. The result is an arch-shaped hill crest along the edge of the ice. When you reach the top, the reward is a breathtaking view. How many churches can you spot?
