Lovely historic holiday house with thatched roof and fantastic covered terrace.

In this holiday house you have the po­s­si­bi­li­ty to travel back in time. The house was built in 1850 and carefully renovated in 2021 in ac­cor­dan­ce with the very special soul of the house and the spirit of the original period. Here you have every op­portu­ni­ty to live in and ex­pe­ri­en­ce museum-like sur­ro­un­dings. Many of the rooms are decorated with furniture and inventory from the good old days. But you can sleep well on new mattres­ses and take a bath in the im­pres­si­ve new bathroom.

Interior
In the lounge you can play a game of cards or lose yourself in a good book by the wood burner, and in the dining room you can enjoy a nice lunch. There are four cosy bedrooms, and in con­nection with the original kitchen, there is also a cosy dining corner. The bathroom was built in 2016 and offers under-floor heating as well as a shower. The spacious lounge on the first floor has a modern at­mosp­he­re. You are not allowed to use open fire, and smoking – inside as well as outside – is pro­hi­bi­ted. You have the po­s­si­bi­li­ty to barbecue, but not closer than 30m from the house and not in windy weather.

Youth groups are not welcome.

Location / the area
The house is located only 225m from a wonderful sandy beach and a cosy forest. So if you love the beach, the forest and angling, this location is perfect. Re­stau­rants, crazy golf and daily shopping are not far away. Do not forget to visit the very special re­stau­rant called Lillero, in the forest, offering top class produce. The house is also a perfect starting point for bicycle and trips and walks. Try f.inst. the 37km long bicycle route called the ”mountain route”, where you have every po­s­si­bi­li­ty to get your pulse up and really get Geopark Odsherred under your skin. The children will ap­pre­ci­a­te to spend a day in Odsherred Zoo Rescue, and you can also go for a round on the local golf course.
