Interior
Spacious holiday house well suited for 2 families. Big lounge with wood burner and good incident light from the huge windows. Open kitchen with dis­hwas­her and micro wave and ample space for producing delicious holiday dinners. The house contains 2 bathrooms with beautiful tiles, creating a Me­di­ter­ra­ne­an at­mosp­he­re. One of the bathrooms has a whirlpool, the other a sauna. There are 4 good bedrooms with re­specti­ve­ly 2 double beds, 1 single bed and 1 bunk bed as well as good storage for clothes. In the utility room you find a washing machine and a dryer. From the lounge you have access to the cosy wooden terrace, where you can barbecue, relax and watch the lavish wildlife.

Location / the area
The holiday house is located in a quiet area only 600m from a perfect sandy beach. Stenstrup Lyng is part of the scenic Geopark Odsherred, Denmark’s first UNESCO Geopark. Here you find an abundance of exciting sights and fantastic adventure-routes in the unique landscape, for walks as well as bicycle tours. Try f. ex. a walk to Korev­ler­ne or around Højby Lake with horses at your heels. In Havnebyen at Sjællands Odde you can buy fresh fish and other spe­ci­a­li­ties, or what about a ferry ride with Mols­linj­en to Aarhus? In Nykøbing Sjælland there is really good shopping with several in­de­pen­dent shops selling local produce and art works. Football golf in Nørre Asmindrup, Hempel Glass Museum at Anneberg with the workshop Glas­Spi­ren for children or Odsherred Museum with the history of the region is certainly also worth a visit. The children will love a trip to the amusement park Som­mer­land Sjælland, which has been elected to Denmark’s best activity for children.
