Well suited for two families or friends on tour

Right behind the inland lagoon Korev­ler­ne and close to the clear blue waters in Sejerø Bay and child-friendly beaches you find the holiday house area with most holiday houses in Odsherred, Lyngen. Et fantastic holiday area with stre­et­food and a good selection of re­stau­rants and eating places plus lovely areas for walks and bicycling, such as MTB in Ellinge Ind­heg­ning forest, Kårup forest or Jyderup forest. You are close to eve­ryt­hing, but you also have peace and quiet to just be yourself and enjoy the holiday.

Welcome inside

The light living room is open with double-height ceiling and a view to the garden through the big windows towards the terrace. By the big long dining table there is plenty of room for everybody, and the dining table is placed right next to the open kitchen, so that you may jointly set the table with delicious food. With a total of two sofa settings you have the po­s­si­bi­li­ty to find peace for knitting or reading a book, at the same time as the others are playing a game of cards or a board game. Which will be your favourite spot? Whether you are two families, friends or two ge­ne­ra­tions in the house, you will feel at ease here. Please note that the access to the loft bed is steep.

Enjoy life outside

There is a sandbox on the terrace, where the youngest ones can play, while you are having coffee by the table. There is also plenty of space on the big plot for playing various garden games and taking a tour in the swing for the children. The covered terrace is extending the season, so you may barbecue until far into autumn. If you want to go for a walk in the forest, Ellinge Ind­heg­ning is located right next to the house and offers many paths among mainly pine trees but also a lot of deciduous trees. If you go the opposite way towards the sea and Sejerø Bay, fine nature paths are also waiting behind Korev­ler­ne, a lagoon created by nature, and here you must follow the bridges across the wetlands, before reaching the fine beach area.

Get close to the local at­tra­ctions

A tour on Højde­rygstien (=the Ridge Trail) is an im­pres­si­ve and different ex­pe­ri­en­ce that we at Fe­ri­e­part­ner Odsherred will recommend you to try. The Ridge Trail is a quality walking path that follows the three unique and cha­ra­cte­ri­stic ge­o­lo­gi­cal for­ma­tions, Od­s­her­red­bu­er­ne (=arches). The for­ma­tions were created during the last Ice Age about 17.000 years ago and present a series of landscape types, created by the rim of a glacier. This first leg follows the ridge Vejrhøjbuen with bre­ath­taking views of the Sejerø Bay and the Lam­mefjord. The landscape around this 7km long walk offers a unique com­bi­na­tion of landsca­pes and history that you may learn more about on the four stops on the route, when you are passing Esterhøj, Maglehøj and Dutterhøje. Start the tour at the shelter place in Veddinge, where you may also visit the Geokids, 3500 different masks in white clay, created by 3500 school­chil­dren as a land art project.
