Cosy holiday house at Ordrup Næs close to the sea

Ordrup Næs is a beautiful peninsula, stret­ching about 4km north and northwest by Sejerø Bay and framed by the sea at both sides. Here you can go for scenic walks, all year round. The tip of Næsset is totally protected, and in the hin­ter­land you find the holiday house area with the village Ordrup and its village pond as a charming centre. It is an area that is really nice to walk and cycle in, the beaches offer good bathing and angling po­s­si­bi­li­ties, and close by you have the huge protected area Bjergene with the highest point in Odsherred and the third-highest on Zealand, the Vejrhøj hill, 121m above sea level.

This is the place to stay, if you value location and charm higher than luxury. In the cosy kitchen there is ample space to produce the daily meals that you may enjoy by the dining table. In the living room you can discuss today’s events and make plans for the following day, and if you need heating, the wood burner is ready in the living room.

Enjoy life outside

The house offers two good terraces, where you can enjoy the outdoor life, and there are several places on the lawn, where you may put the deckchair down and take a rest. After a short walk you reach the beach by Ordrup Næs, a nice place to take a swim and sunbathe. You can also take the walk all the way to and around Ordrup Næs, where - at the other side of the foreland – you also find a wonderful bathing beach. Shops and cafés are not far away in the village of Ordrup.

Get close to the local at­tra­ctions

At Fe­ri­e­part­ner Odsherred we recommend a visit to Næsskoven and Kårup Skov forests. Here you have good po­s­si­bi­li­ties for acti­vi­ties for the entire family. In Even­tyr­da­len valley among beech trees and ferns and close to the white jogging path you find a chip-covered narrator’s cave with ad­ven­tu­rous stories, figures from fairyta­les, small houses, a slide, a climbing net and much more. Here is also a section with forest fitness, where you find various training tools under the gnarled pine trees and close to the yellow jogging path. At another spot you have the Ege­s­let­ten plain with a panorama platform, hammocks and lounge chairs. Here you have the po­s­si­bi­li­ty to activate everybody.
