Lovely holiday house with beautiful terrace close to wonderful sandy beach

Extremely cosy and well-kept holiday house located on a lovely plot with a superb covered and sunny terrace. Only 800m from great sandy beach.

Interior

The holiday house contains a pleasant lounge where you can relax and be together, with a piano, wood burning stove, a sofa bed that sleeps 2 and a view to the garden, where the deer are crossing frequent­ly. In con­nection with the lounge there is an open kitchen. The house has 2 fine bathrooms with shower, one of them also with a superb hot tub. There are 3 nice bedrooms, 2 with double beds and 1 with bunk bed and ample storage space. A baby tub is also at your disposal. The large terrace of the house is very light and welcoming with a barbecue and sun chairs, where you can enjoy the sun from early till late while the children are playing in the garden. In the garden you find a sand box and a swing as well as a pushcart. There is also a charge plug for an electric car.

Location / the area

The holiday house is located in a quiet area only 800m from a perfectly child-friendly sandy beach. Ellinge Lyng is part of the scenic Geopark Odsherred which is Denmark’s first UNESCO Geopark. Here you find an abundance of in­tri­gu­ing at­tra­ctions and fantastic event-routes in the unique landscape. Try f.inst. a walk to Korev­ler­ne or around Højby Lake with horses at your heels… In the village Havnebyen at Sjællands Odde you can buy fresh fish and other local spe­ci­a­li­ties and maybe take the Mols-Line ferry to Århus. In Nykøbing Sjælland there is really good shopping with several special stores with local produce and art works. Football golf in Nørre Asmindrup, Hempel Glass Museum at Anneberg with the workshop Glas­Spi­ren for children or Odsherred Museum with the history of the region are certainly also worth a visit. The children will love a day in the amusement park Som­mer­land Sjælland which has been elected Denmark’s best activity for children.
