Description
Close to the fine beach at Høve and the popular Høve forest, you find the holiday house area Asnæs Indelukke, where this holiday house is centrally located. The beach is by Sejerø Bay, offering kilometres of lovely sandy beaches for activities by sea, walks or just to lie on the beach, take a swim and listen to the roaring from the sea. Lyngen, as the holiday area is called, offers many restaurants, cafés, ice cream stalls, streetfood and crazy golf plus other activities.
Welcome inside
The light and spacious living room with double-height ceiling has windows on all sides, so from the open kitchen you may follow, what is happening indoors as well as outdoors, while you are preparing the coffee. You can have your breakfast by the dining table and later in the day play some board games here. In the soft sofa or the neighbouring bed recess you may relax with a good book. If you have taken a long walk along the beach, it is nice to have a sauna and a spa bath.
Enjoy life outside
Outside you may enjoy life on the partly covered terrace, while the sun is setting, and the evening is falling. Or maybe you prefer to feel the sunbeams and sunbathe on the terrace or just take an afternoon nap in the shade under a tree. If you need action, you could challenge the others to a match in the garden with either a game of petanque, badminton or football. Here you have the opportunity to do it all.
Get close to the local attractions
Close to the holiday house you have the highest located village on Zealand, Høve, with a panoramic view of the Sejerø Bay from the parking lot next to the restaurant Udsigten. Take the tour to the top of the hill Esterhøj right behind it, then you get a breathtaking view around to the hill Vejrhøj and the Lammefjord and all the way to Sjællands Odde.
If you brought your hiking shoes, we at Feriepartner Odsherred will recommend you to go for a hike on the Højderygstien(=the Ridge Trail), passing Esterhøj but also several other burial mounds. The tour is 7km long and starts from the shelter ground in Veddinge. The Ridge Trail is based on the Odsherred Arches, three characteristic and unique geological formations. The Odsherred Arches were created during the last Ice Age (17.000 years before our time) and show a series of landscape types, formed by the edge of a glacier. This first leg follows the ridge Vejrhøjbuen with fantastic views. The landscape around this 7km long leg contains a unique combination of landscapes and history that you may dig into at the four break spots during the route: the Shelter ground, Esterhøj, Maglehøj, Dutterhøje.
