As soon as you arrive at the house, you'll feel right at home. The house is decorated in a bright and cosy style, so you're sure to have a great holiday here.
The house has a good kitchen with all the necessary facilities you need for your holiday. There's also a dining area by the kitchen, so there's plenty of space for you all to sit around the table and eat breakfast together. From the living room, which is connected to the kitchen, you can also go outside and enjoy your morning coffee or a nice meal on the terraces of the house.
The living room is also cosy, with a wood-burning stove where you can turn up the heat when needed. The living room has a comfortable sofa and a TV, so you can relax here after a long day of adventures on Samsø. The light wooden ceilings and large windows and the garden door bring plenty of light into the living room and you can enjoy the view to the garden.
The house has 3 bedrooms, with a good double bed in each bedroom. In total, there is room for 6 guests to get a good night's sleep. The rooms are also bright and have plenty of storage space. Surrounding the house is a lovely green and well-kept garden. There are several cosy spots with garden furniture, so there are plenty of opportunities to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings.
From the living room there is direct access to the covered west-facing terrace where you can sit in the shade and enjoy your meals. On the opposite side of the house is another lovely terrace. This is an ideal place to sit when the sun shines over Samsø. Explore the garden and enjoy the green surroundings and the lovely pots and flower beds. The house also has a good driveway and a garage, so the practicalities are all in place for your holiday here.
Get close to local experiences
The house is located in the lovely coastal town of Kolby Kås on southern Samsø. From here it's only about 150 metres to a pebble beach with a jetty nearby and the most beautiful sunsets. Close to Kolby Kås is Vesborg Lighthouse, where you can go up and enjoy the spectacular view over southern Samsø and all the way to Jutland, Funen and Zealand. Also visit Brattingsborg Forest, a beautiful forest located very close to the coast, where you can enjoy some lovely walks.
Samsø has many cosy villages with local shops, cafés and galleries. It's easy to drive or cycle around and experience these villages. In the harbour town of Ballen, there is plenty of activity in the summer with a wide selection of restaurants.
On the northern part of Samsø, don't miss a visit to the cosy town of Nordby. Here you can enjoy a lunch or a nice ice-cream by the lovely street pond. In Nordby Bakker you can also go for some beautiful walks in the slightly hilly landscape. Issehoved is the northernmost point of Samsø, where you can see where the sea of Kattegat meets. Samsø offers both nature and cultural experiences all year round.
