Bright, olderly townhouse in the popular harbour town of Ballen with a lovely, sheltered garden. The house is only 65 metres from one of Samsø's most at­tra­cti­ve beaches.

Welcome inside
The townhouse can ac­com­moda­te 5 guests and is a cosy setting for your holiday in one of Samsø's most popular holiday towns, Ballen. The house has a practical utility room, which you enter from the tiled terrace. There is plenty of storage space and a washing machine. From the utility room there is access to the bathroom with a walk-in shower, which is bright, fun­ctio­nal and with white tiles on the walls.

From the utility room there is a step up to the bright and well-appointed kitchen/dining room with planed wooden floors and plenty of space to prepare your holiday meals. The kitchen includes a fridge-freezer, an oven with hob and an electric kettle. There is also a small "pantry" with extra storage space and a dis­hwas­her.

From the kitchen, there is a good view of the dining table and the windows facing the garden, so it's easy to spend time together in this kitchen/family room, which is also connected to the living room. From the kitchen-dining room, there is a door to the garden, making it easy to take your meals outside and enjoy the view of the green garden.

Connected to the dining area is the living room and sofa corner, where there is plenty of space to relax and read a book. It is also possible to switch on the te­le­vi­sion, which is a Smart TV that can show flow-TV via the internet. In the other part of the living area, there is extra storage space and the po­s­si­bi­li­ty of an extra bed. Centrally placed in the living room is a small wood-burning stove that provides cosiness and warmth during cold periods.

Up to the 1st floor is a slightly steep staircase leading up to the 3 bedrooms. One of the bedrooms is furnished with a double bed, one with two single beds and a small room with a single bed. The bedrooms are not renovated or modern, but they are small and cosy with sloping walls and plenty of light from the windows.

Enjoy life outside
Behind the house is a large and green garden with old trees and shrubs that provide privacy. The south-facing terrace is a great place to sit outside and enjoy both shelter and sunshine most of the day when it shines over Ballen. You can also barbecue and relax in the garden furniture. There is ample parking space in front of the house, and the house is slightly secluded from street that leads straight down to the beach, where there is also a viewing bench.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
Ballen is a popular tourist desti­na­tion on Samsø with its cosy marina about 300 metres from the house. In summer, Ballen is a lively town with a grocery store, spe­ci­a­li­ty shops, live music and good re­stau­rants. At Ballen there is also a lovely sandy beach and jetty where you can take a dip. From Ballen, it is also short cycling distance to the other cosy villages on the island. It is approx. 4 ki­lo­metres to Samsø's largest town Tra­neb­jerg, where there are several shopping fa­ci­li­ties, Samsø Museum and tourist in­for­ma­tion.

From the holiday home is 5 ki­lo­me­ters to a beau­ti­ful­ly situated 18-hole golf course. Samsø Golf Club also has a Pay & Play course where everyone can join in, and it is possible to rent equipment in the golf shop.

Northern Samsø has a beautiful hilly glacial landscape, so fantastic hikes await. Issehoved is Samsø's nort­her­n­most point, where you can enjoy the view across the Kattegat to Jutland. Nordby is also a cosy village with a street pond and an iconic clock tower. In Nordby there are also re­stau­rants, shops and good op­portu­ni­ties for an ice cream.
