Idyllic and cozy sum­mer­hou­se at beautiful Mårup Øster­strand

Only 500 meters from one of Samsø's best beaches, is this nice, small wooden summer house. The house is the perfect setting for a tra­di­tio­nal and cosy sum­mer­hou­se holiday for 4 people.

The cosy kitchen is connected to the living room, and the kitchen has eve­ryt­hing you need to prepare your meals. It includes an oven, fridge, hob and coffee machine. Like the rest of the house, the wooden walls and floors are nicely kept. Off the kitchen is the dining table, where you can enjoy your meals and the light from the windows. From the kitchen and dining area there is a door leading out onto a lovely, covered terrace. It is perfect to take your meals out onto the south-facing terrace, which may function as an extra room in the summer.

Opposite the kitchen is the cosy living room with a sofa corner and a wood-burning stove. There is also a te­le­vi­sion with a Chro­mecast, which allows you to choose your own content via mobile or tablet and the free WiFi. Light up the wood stove and get a com­ple­te­ly authentic and cosy sum­mer­hou­se at­mosp­he­re in the small living room, where you can immerse yourself in a good book or play a boardgame. The living room also leads out to a wooden terrace, which is lovely and sunny and overlooks the fields.

The house has two bedrooms with double beds and storage space. The rooms are not large, but they are cosy and can ac­com­moda­te 4 guests who wants it small and cosy.

Next to the rooms there is a bathroom with shower. There are wooden floors throug­hout the house except in the bathroom. The house is heated by an air-to-air heat pump and is well sup­ple­men­ted by the wood-burning stove during colder periods.

Enjoy life outside
The summer house has two good wooden terraces where it is possible to find sun, shade and shelter according to your desire and need.

The house is located at the eastern end of the large plot, so there is plenty of space on the lawn in front of the house, which also has a nice view to the west. Deer and rabbits often pass by here, which makes a great com­bi­na­tion of being in a peaceful sum­mer­hou­se area, and at the same time sur­ro­un­ded by nature. Bushes and several birch trees surround the lawn, so while the good views are preserved, it is also possible to be unin­ter­rup­ted on the terrace and in the garden.
In the driveway of the house there is parking space, and in the garden, there is an out­bu­il­ding for storage.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
On the northern part of Samsø there is a short distance to the water. Maarup Øster­strand is a beautiful sandy beach only 650-meter walking distance from the house. If you would like to go for some lovely walks, the beautiful and slightly hilly landscape of North Samsø is perfect for this. The fa­sci­nat­ing landscape is partly protected, and places like Issehoved and Møgelskår are always worth a visit. The villages of Nordby and Mårup, just 2 ki­lo­metres from the sum­mer­hou­se, offer street cafes, shopping, arts and crafts, good re­stau­rants and, not least, op­portu­ni­ties for a tasty ice cream.

On the southern part of Samsø you will find a popular 18-hole golf course right next to the water at the village of Besser.

In Tra­neb­jerg and Ballen you will find various re­stau­rants where you can enjoy local produced food. Around Samsø's small villages, there are also many small shops and cafes worth visiting. There are a number of acti­vi­ties on Samsø throug­hout the year, so it's worth checking out the Chestnut Festival in October or the Street Kitchen Festival in Nordby in February, for example.
