We look forward to welcoming you and up to 4 guests to this summer house near Maarup Øster­strand in northern Samsø. The summer house is a charming wooden house that has retained its original charm while being nicely renovated to provide a com­fortab­le holiday ex­pe­ri­en­ce. You don’t need to think about anything other than enjoying your holiday and relaxing with the peace and nature right outside the door.

The kitchen and living room are connected, forming the heart of the house where you can spend quality time together. The kitchen is neat and fun­ctio­nal, allowing you to prepare meals and gather around the dining table. When the weather permits, you can, of course, take your morning coffee or dinner with fresh Samsø potatoes outside to the partially covered terrace. On the sofa, you can fully relax with a book, a game, or maybe turn on the TV. To add extra coziness and warmth, you can also light the wood-burning stove, which is located in the corner of the living room. From the living room, you can easily access the covered terrace through the patio door, making the terrace an ad­di­tio­nal living space in the summer.

The summer house has two good bedrooms. In one bedroom, adults can enjoy a restful night's sleep, while the other room is perfect for two children in bunk beds. The summer house also has a bathroom that retains some original features from the house's early days but is still bright and well-main­tai­ned with plenty of space.

Enjoy life outside

The summer house has a lovely covered wooden terrace, perfect for sitting and enjoying the sun or finding shelter if it is windy. The terrace is furnished with garden furniture, where you can take your meals outside or lounge in the sun chairs. The house is set on a nice plot with a garden that has both mowed and tall grass. Ad­di­tio­nal­ly, the garden is sur­ro­un­ded by bushes and trees, providing you with privacy. Parking at the house is easy, so all pra­cti­ca­li­ties are taken care of. All that remains is to enjoy your time together in this lovely summer house near Maarup Øster­strand on Samsø.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

The summer house is located in the peaceful summer house area of Maarup Øster­strand Nord, near Nordby, and only 300 meters from one of Samsø's best beaches. You can easily walk down the gravel path to the beach for a swim or enjoy time on the sandy shore.

In northern Samsø, water is within short reach all around, and the beautiful, gently rolling landscape is perfect for walks. Places like Issehoved and Møgelskår are always worth a visit. Don’t forget to visit the well-preserved village of Nordby, with its iconic village pond and bell tower – a perfect spot for a nice lunch or ice cream. Nordby is also home to the world’s largest maze – yes, it’s true! See if you can find your way to the center together.

Maarup is only about 1.5 km from the summer house, where you can do your grocery shopping or rent a bike.

In southern Samsø, you will find more local at­tra­ctions, such as the Falconry Center and the beau­ti­ful­ly located 18-hole golf course. In Tra­neb­jerg and Ballen, you’ll find many re­stau­rants where you can enjoy local produce. Around Samsø's small villages, there are also many small shops and cafes worth visiting.
