Welcome inside
This charming holiday home exudes cosiness and hours together for up to four guests. The house has a good layout and staggered levels, but at the centre of it all is the view of the sea, which is right outside the windows.
The kitchen is spacious with enough room to prepare your holiday meals while enjoying the stunning views as you sit at the kitchen table. Up a few steps from the kitchen and into the living room, which is the heart and gathering space of the house. The conservatory has panoramic windows that give you a full view of the sea and coastline. Here is the dining table with seating for all of you, so no matter what the weather is like, your meals can be enjoyed with the view of the sea as your background. Next to the dining table is a small sofa corner and an armchair where you can relax with a good book or enjoy a cup of afternoon coffee. Here you can spend many hours together enjoying the sunset and the beautiful sea view.
The living room is cosy and inviting with light wooden walls and ceilings. There's a sofa and armchairs so you can make yourself comfortable and switch on the TV or play a game. The living room also has a wood-burning stove, so even when it's cold outside, you can turn up the heat and cosiness inside. From the living room there is a step down to the two bedrooms. The rooms have a good size and in one bedroom, which overlooks the sea, there is a double bed. In the other room there are two comfortable beds and a window facing the green surroundings.

Enjoy life outside
You can hardly get any closer to the beach than when you stay in this holiday home. As soon as you step outside the door, the sea and the beach are right up close. However, the safest way to the beach is 100 metres along the gravel road, where you can go straight down and take a dip. Of course, you can also sit in front of the house in the garden furniture and enjoy a dinner and watch the sunset from the first parquet. At the entrance of the house, there is another terrace facing south-east, so you can sit in a sheltered spot and still enjoy the surroundings.
The house is located on a gravel road, and there are bushes and trees on either side, so you can enjoy the terrace facing the sea undisturbed.
Get up Close to the Local Experiences
This holiday home is situated in a very private area, so you can expect peaceful surroundings as the house is located at the end of a longer gravel road that begins at the old school in the village of Onsbjerg. There are a few other houses next to the holiday home, but you have the opportunity to enjoy Samsø's nature, coast and tranquillity all to yourself. The summerhouse is located on the eastern coast of Samsø south of Sælvig. The beach, which is a pebble beach, is just 20 meters from the house but the sea is absolutely clear to swim in.
Tranebjerg, the largest town on Samsø, is just kilometres from the holiday home, and here you'll find grocery stores as well as several specialty shops, cafés and Samsø Museum. The cosy marina town named Ballen, situated on the opposite coast of Samsø is full of life in the summer and a wide selection of restaurants.
If you're travelling south, it's always beautiful to visit Brattingsborg Forest or Vesborg Lighthouse, and we recommend you climb up the top of the lighthouse in summer and enjoy the view of southern Samsø and the coast.
On northern Samsø, you'll pass the Kanhave Canal. Today there is a model of a Viking ship that could once pass through the man-made canal. Today, however, you can cycle or drive all the way to Nordby, a charming village with an iconic bell tower and street pond. It's an ideal place to enjoy an ice cream or lunch.
Don't miss a visit to Nordby Bakker and Issehoved, the northernmost point of Samsø, and it's always an experience to go for a walk here.
