Welcome inside
This holiday home exudes cosiness and good times together for up to 4 guests in two bedrooms. The bedrooms have storage space and windows overlooking the green garden. One bedroom has a comfortable double bed, while the other slightly smaller room has two single beds. Next to the bedrooms is the bathroom, which is bright and functional with storage space, a shower and underfloor heating.
The kitchen/family room and living room are the centre of the house. This room is heated by the wood-burning stove, which provides warmth and cosiness as soon as you have lit the fire and settled in. It is bright and inviting with a newly renovated kitchen, beautiful plank floors and white-painted wooden walls. The open-plan kitchen behind a half-wall makes it easy to spend time together, whether you're preparing dinner or cosying up on the sofa.
The kitchen is equipped with the necessary facilities for your holiday meals as well as plenty of storage space. The kitchen also has a garden door to an east-facing tiled terrace. It's a great place to take your morning coffee outside and enjoy the peace and quiet and green surroundings. Adjacent to the kitchen is a dining area where you can play a boardgame or eat your meals while enjoying the view of the garden from the large floor-to-ceiling windows.
The kitchen and dining area are connected to the living room, which exudes cosiness and relaxation. Here you'll find an armchair and sofa where you can relax or turn on the TV with a Chromecast.
There are no TV channels included, but with the Chromecast you can watch your own content via mobile or tablet and the free WiFi. In the centre of the living room is the wood-burning stove, and in addition to this source of heat, there are electric radiators in the bedrooms and underfloor heating in the bathroom.
From the living room there is access to the south-facing terrace, which is partially covered, so you can spend many good hours here when the weather permits.
Enjoy life outside
The summerhouse is situated on a lovely plot surrounded by shrubs and hedges, so you can be here undisturbed. At the same time there is a view off the area and the sea. The plot is over 1000 m2, so there is plenty of space for play and relaxation. The summerhouse has two good terraces. One is an east-facing tiled terrace with access from the kitchen. The terrace is well shielded from the road, and it is nice to sit here and enjoy the morning and afternoon sun.
From the living room and kitchen/family room, there is access to another partially covered wooden terrace that is elevated from the lawn. Here is also garden furniture to enjoy your meals outside, perhaps cooked on the barbecue, or relax with a good book.
Get close to local experiences
The house is located in the lovely summerhouse area on the west coast of Samsø, Vesterløkken. Just north of Ballen is Samsø Golf Club, a beautifully situated 18-hole golf course.
