This cosy holiday apartment close to Ballen and a lovely beach is the perfect choice for those who like it small but nice. The holiday apartment is mini­ma­li­stic, but with the most necessary for enjoying Samsø and Ballen to the full. The small holiday apartment of 37m2 has only 75 meters to the beach and less than 4 ki­lo­me­ters to the golf course, so here are ex­pe­ri­en­ces on Samsø in the center.

When you enter the holiday apartment, you are im­me­di­a­te­ly in a lovely living room / bedroom. However, there is a nice division, meaning there are to two beds to the right of the entrance. One is a double bed which also functions as a sofa bed, the other is a single bed. In addition, there is also a cozy sofa and armchair in the central room, so if you need to relax in com­fortab­le furniture, this is also possible.

To the left is a cosy dining area with seating for 4 people. Meals of the day can be enjoyed here, while the large window provides a lovely light, and views of the garden and life around Ballen. There is also a TV (fibernet), radio and a selection of bo­ard­ga­mes if you want to gather around the table and play against each other.

The kitchen is separate and is new and fun­ctio­nal with a fine wooden floor. Although small, it has the necessary fa­ci­li­ties such as a fridge/freezer, oven and coffee machine.

From the kitchen is an entrance to the bathroom, which has the necessary fa­ci­li­ties such as a shower and tiles with un­der­floor heating.

The apartment is heated with a heat pump, so the apartment is suitable for year-round use.

Outdoor
The holiday apartment is very close to the beach so you can actually hear the waves. In front of the holiday apartment is a small terrace with garden furniture, so you can take your morning coffee outside. The terrace is sheltered behind bushes and the house, but at the same time it is close to the road to Ballen and the beach, so you can observe the life passing by. However, the holiday apartment is close to the town of Ballen, so traffic is quiet here.

Behind the house is a lawn which can be used freely (now under con­struction). The lawn is shared with the farmhouse, but it is a small green oasis, shielded from the road. With only 75 meters to the sea, there is no excuse to take a dip in the clear water or take your book to the fine beach and rest here.

With only 75 metres to one of Samsø's best beaches, there's plenty of op­portu­ni­ty to make the most out of both your beach trip and life in Ballen. When you feel like ex­pe­ri­en­cing the charming en­viron­ment around the marina in the middle of Ballen, there is a wonderful walk along the water (1,5 kilometer). With fine dining, spe­ci­a­li­ty shops and local crafts and con­ve­ni­en­ce stores, it is a very popular holiday town. In Ballen, you can visit the Food and Wine Bar – Den Gamle Butik, where you can enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace or have a well-prepared fish dish on the seafront at Røgeriet. There are also small concerts in the summer, which creates a lovely and lively at­mosp­he­re.

Samsø Golf Club, which is probably one of Denmark's most beau­ti­ful­ly situated golf courses, is located just 4 ki­lo­me­ters north of the house. The golf course is always worth a visit, and it is an obvious place to spend a lot of time, if you want to enjoy both golf and Samsø's beautiful coast.

Close to the golf course and just 4 ki­lo­me­ters from the holiday apartment is the village of Besser, which is known for its cosy cafe and shop, Søster Sidevind. In Besser you will also find the Morgan Garage with a nice selection of Morgan cars and a lookout-tower from which you can enjoy the view over the east-facing fields.

Only 3.5 ki­lo­metres from the holiday apartment is Samsø's largest town Tra­neb­jerg, where there are good shopping op­portu­ni­ties with several spe­ci­a­li­ty shops, Samsø Museum and the island's tourist in­for­ma­tion. The ferry to Zealand is also only 3 ki­lo­me­ters from the house, and the ferry to Jutland from Sælvig is only a 10-minute drive away, so the location is ideal for exploring the full of Samsø.

The North Island also offers bre­ath­taking scenery, and you should not cheat yourself of a walk in Nordby Hills. There are short and longer hiking trails in the beautiful ice age landscape, and at the same time you can enjoy views of Tunø, Jutland, Zealand and Besser Reef. When it's time to eat, charming Nordby also has several good re­stau­rants and small shops with local products.
