The holiday house is a small gem located between Rørvig and Nykøbing, perfect for re­laxa­tion. Here you may enjoy reading, playing games or baking. Al­ter­na­ti­ve­ly you can just sit down and look out the windows to spot a deer or a squirrel. The spacious living and dining room is the setting for good con­ver­sa­tions around the dining table. But the sauna hut, where it is obvious to enjoy a glass of bubbly, cannot be described – it must be ex­pe­ri­en­ced.

Enjoy life outside
The beautiful garden, sur­ro­un­ded by the most fantastic rho­do­den­dron, can also be the setting for a game of badminton, pole tennis or croquet. Should the weather be a bit tricky, there are two covered terraces to seek shelter on, and they can also extend the day with a cosy evening.

Get close to the local at­tra­ctions
Go for a tour to the beach at Kattegat through the scenic forest Rørvig Sand­flugts­plan­ta­ge, offering pine trees, dune heath and a wide sandy beach. And go to the village of Rørvig, where you may find good eating places and ex­pe­ri­en­ce local history on the chur­chy­ard by Rørvig Church. Here, among others, the Nobel Prize author Henrik Po­n­top­pi­dan is buried.

From Rørvig harbour you can take the small ferry to Hundested, or you can go for a bicycle ride on the Fjord­s­tien path, framing the Isefjord and Roskilde Fjord. Fjord­s­tien path is 230km long and offers beautiful views and varied paths, well suited for cyclists as well as hikers. If you walk along the Kattegat coast, you will reach Korshage, a protected nature area in the north-eastern Odsherred, and from here you can return past Dybesø Lake and along the forest or the im­pres­si­ve inland dune Højsandet.
