Description
South of Rørvig you find the peninsula Nakke with open landscapes and a view of the sea, fjord and bay all the around the horizon as well as several fine nature areas such as Nakke forest, the bird sanctuary Hov Vig and Slettemosen moor. This well furnished holiday house is located in the southern part in peace and quiet a few hundred metres from the beach.
Welcome inside
With plenty of incident light from the big windows, pine wood floors and light wooden walls you almost feel wrapped up by nature, when you sit down in the huge corner sofa with room for the entire family and look out into the garden. While the heat from the wood burner is spreading, and cups of cocoa are put on the table, you enjoy the peace and quiet that you find in this well maintained and well furnished holiday house. And maybe you want to play a board game with the family or just totally relax and enjoy the silence.
Enjoy life outside
On the big nature plot of the holiday house there is plenty of space for play, using the garden games that you brought or lie down in the sun chair and sunbathe. Follow the small paths for a few hundred metres to the beach with a view of Nykøbing Bay and the Isefjord. The beach is well suited for a walk, and the fresh water is fine for bathing. You may also be lucky to catch a fish, if you bring your angling gear, and later you can prepare the fish on the barbecue by the house.
Get close to the local attractions
From the holiday house it is not far to the bird sanctuary Hov Vig, a unique bird and animal reserve with wide wetlands, reed forest and meadows. 231 different bird species have been registered in the area. And thanks to the road Hovvigvej that crosses the area you can get quite close to the birds, also from the bird towers that have been set up there. A tour around Slettemosen moor, an old common landscape, and a visit to Nakke forest are also obvious excursion objects for nature lovers. If you want to break the silence with activities, Rørvig harbour and the market town Nykøbing are not far away, and during the summer months the amusement park Sommerland Sjælland is a must for all families with children.
