Description
Many qualities can be highlighted in this lovely holiday apartment, which is part of the Rømø Strand holiday center: it is well-appointed, thoroughly renovated in 2020, and equipped with a large terrace. It is just a short distance from the Wadden Sea, allowing you to enjoy the sea view while relaxing in the garden furniture under the sun.
Welcome inside
More precisely, this is a ground-floor apartment measuring 48 m², with a great layout for up to four holiday guests. Two people can sleep in the double bed in the bedroom, while there is space for additional two on the living room's double sofa bed. During the day, the living room functions as a wonderful gathering space, as the furnishings are not only stylish but also comfortable, and the large window provides ample natural light and a view of the holiday center's green common area. You can use the heat pump if it’s cold outside, and in the open kitchen area, you’ll find a lovely setting for cooking. Thanks to the modernization in 2020, the entire apartment appears bright and inviting – including the bathroom, which, like the other rooms, features white-painted wooden strips on the walls.
Enjoy life outside
From the living room, there is direct access to the large southeast-facing tiled terrace, which is shielded by a windbreaking fence on two sides. However, the fence is not so high that you can’t enjoy the view of the Wadden Sea, and through the opening, you can quickly step out onto the green common area if you need to stretch your legs. If you have children with you on holiday, it’s convenient to be located right next to a playground, and the holiday center also offers tennis courts, sports courts, table tennis tables, and a pétanque court for free use.
Get up close to the local attractions
Even though you have a sea view from the terrace, it is also recommended to get even closer to the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. For instance, you can take a walk along the Havneby dyke while admiring the vast tidal area, and if you like fresh seafood, you can go on a guided oyster tour, where you walk out onto the mudflat to collect oysters during low tide. If you feel like taking a boat trip, you can take the ferry from Havneby to the neighboring island of Sylt for a cozy outing, where you can also taste local specialties from the island’s many restaurants. If you prefer to stay on Rømø, there is also a good selection of charming dining options, particularly in Havneby, which further features a supermarket, a fish shop, and a bike rental.
